Bakehouse46

Bakehouse46 is a collaboration between Cupcake Station and Blake’s Farm, serving up cupcakes, donuts, cider, candy apples and more! The spot, which opened earlier this year, features a variety of cupcake flavors, like Lemon Lust, vegan chocolate and vanilla, Chocolate Cheesecake and more, as well as donut flavors like Maple Bacon, Fruity Pebbles and Acai Bowl. Bakehouse46 is in the process of opening in all previous Cupcake Station locations.

With locations in Greektown and Royal Oak, Astoria has stood the test of time for nearly 50 years. Sister Pie

Sister Pie opened its doors in 2015 after winning the Hatch Detroit contest and earning a grant to open a storefront. Since then, they’ve released a cookbook, begun teaching baking classes, partnered with Shake Shack for their “Pie Oh My” custard and, of course, sold pies! If pie isn’t quite your thing, the menu also features cookies, muffins, scones, shortbread and more.

Vito Bommarito launched his bakery using family recipes in 1970, and has since been voted Best of Detroit by WDIV for its cannolis, cassatta cakes and muffalettas. Milano has been a staple in the Eastern Market district since it opened in 1975, and for good reason. The bakery’s wide variety of treats includes chocolate French silk pie, Oreo cheesecake and lemon poppy muffins.
